The book is a redesign of the architectural magazine OASE, issue #82, basing my working approach on 2 restrictions - unbound book and design of encyclopedia.
The pivot point for the design was the perception of what an encyclopaedia is and the systematic organisation of information in it. The redesign consists of 4 chapters - Titles, Text body, Footnotes and Image descriptions, organised by number of characters in each paragraph. They all follow the original layout of the magazine by leaving space for the rest of the objects on the page.
This project explores our perception of books and suggests an alternative way for reading and approaching information.
